Paid for by Ron Warner for City Council

Fairbanks, AK 99709

Ron Warner is a principled young man who is running for office because he feels he has an obligation to his fellow citizens. He has witnessed how the government has abused, interpreted, and ignored the constitution. The tipping point to run for office was when the Fairbanks City Council voted down a resolution to halt the fluoridation in Fairbanks by one vote. Ronald is the lead sponsor for the Fairbanks initiative petition to place fluoride on the ballot, giving citizens a voice in the matter. Fifty years ago the City Council mandated fluoride to be distributed in the city water supply.

Ron went to the '08 Republican National Convention as a Ron Paul At-Large Delegate, he steadfastly held to his principles despite extreme pressure to unite with the party and back McCain. Ron played an important role in getting the votes announced for Ron Paul on the convention floor. Alaska was only one of about three states who actually announced the Ron Paul votes on the convention floor. As soon as Ron turned 18, he researched all the candidates for himself, looking for the one who suited him best. That’s when he found Congressman Ron Paul. The thing that appealed to Warner the most about Ron Paul was the fact that he was the "Champion of the Constitution". Like Ron Paul, Ron Warner's guiding torch is the Constitution.

Quotes by Ron:

* We need to elect the Chief of Police to hold him accountable to the people, not the mayor. If that was the case, then we possibly could have avoided the current lawsuit against the city.

* The City Council of Fairbanks needs to be as interested in the residential neighborhoods of Fairbanks as much as they are the downtown area.

* The current annexation plan: We do not need to go around conquering land, Fairbanks should be such a great place to live that people would ask to join it.

* I support an investigation regarding the powers of the Parking Authority. Because as it stands, you need a lawyer and a surveyor to find a place to park downtown!

* I would like to see more accountability from City Police regarding Search and Seizure and Confiscation.

* Our right to own firearms is unalienable, that means the government never gave us the right and they can't take it away. If you elect me as your Councilman, you can be sure that I will never create more firearm regulation. Just look at what it has done to Washington DC and Chicago.

* I am a staunch proponent of zero taxes, but when needed, low taxes, I would never create more burdens for families because whenever you give money to the government you never recieve 100% of it back in the form of services. Whenever the people are allowed to keep their hard earned money it opens the door for the creativity and individualism that made America great.

* Fluoride: Fairbanks never had a say in the matter, and it’s about time we should, the government has no right to mandate medication to the masses!

* If the Constitution does not specifically give the government authority to do something, then they can't do it!

My game plan is to raise just enough money to create a simple tri-fold brochure and send it to each resident in the city. If I can raise enough money, I will purchase some radio time which can run as cheap as $500 for 2 weeks. With your help, I can make this possible. If you would like to contribute, email me at Bluecollarron@hotmail.com and feel free to send me an email and give me some feedback, you might be suprised at my response! I know the odds are against me to win in this election, but hopefully, I can make a name for myself, and just maybe, some of my issues will rub off on the Councilman who will sit in "Seat C".

Once again, please send me an email at bluecollarron@hotmail.com or give me a call at 457-2333 and tell me what is on your mind!

In Liberty,
Ron Warner II
Candidate for City Council Seat C
